There are no more skeletons in my closet.
no more secrets protected by my fear and silence.
years I have heard their bones clacking in the dark
noisy even when they weren't close enough to-
Talk over me
Talk at me
Talk through me.

I reached in pulling the last of the bones out-
held you in my hands one more time-
with no joy to be sparked here-
I discard you with the other skeletons-
who wished to show me my place.
How many other women have had to KonMari
out of their space?
your ego-
with it's giant carbon footprint
could never think it possible.
writing yourself into our stories-
trying to syphon off the elixir
that is woman-
but, you see - you will return to the dust
from whence you came.
but Woman-
We will always be magick

Can the hot air emitted
from a self important man
be considered the burning of high carbon fuels?
Surely, this can't be permitted-
it's time to cut their emissions
for the fate of all rests in the silence.
